Pillowcase Dress

Today was Miss A’s last day at Elementary school. She will be a 1st grader starting week after next. So I decided to make a “quick” Pillowcase dress for her.

50th post and a pair of Scissor Holders!!

Yay!! This is my 50th post. I am so happy.

I just could'nt spend time on my sewing machine for the past 2 months, relocating - settling down and then just wandering around the new city. Tired days are not exactly great to get motivation to sew. Life is definetely moving in fast forward.

I finally made a couple of scissor holders yesterday.



I used up some of my fabric scraps to make these. I printed a motif on the big scissor holder with some fabric paint and I hand sewed the lace to the bottom fabrics to prevent the scissors from falling out.
