Just wanted to share a few pictures of my little pumpkin who is going to be 5 months soon :) Time flies, Really!!

This little lady is very demanding, and she is thoroughly enjoying all the pampering from Big sister, Mommy and Daddy. :)

Good News!!

I have some good news to share. I am pregnant and we just got to know it’s a Girl. YAY!!

Miss A is so excited that she already started saving all the clothes and shoes she outgrew.

It’s been a while since I blogged and I can definitely blame it on the hormones. This pregnancy has been much harder on me than the first one. Just 4 more months to go and counting each day already. In the meanwhile I am having a Agatha Christie marathon, managing to finish a book every two days.

I am sure you guys are all looking forward to a lovely summer. Off I go now to catch up with some dinner.

Baking bread with Miss A

Before her school starts again (after a track out) Miss A wanted to do some baking. So, off I went, goggled a few recipes, read some baking books and this was the output. A delicious smelling Milk bread with a combination of bread flour and whole wheat flour.

After eating this bread, store bought bread is on its way out from this home.

Glass painting with Miss. A

Miss. A wanted to learn painting and so I decided to teach her with a few basics. I asked her what she wanted to paint and she said " Glass"!

With just little help from me, she learnt very fast and did an awesome job. I am so proud of her. :)

Still Alive and Just Relocated.

Hello all, I just have been a little away from the blogging world as I relocated to North Carolina a couple of days ago. The movers will be here next week. So, right now I have nothing to do but just explore my new environs.

Two Additions to the Family

The other day Miss.A started crying saying she wanted a brother or a sister to play. Hmm.., now where can I get somebody overnight?? So, I bought her two dolls as a surprise, just to keep her occupied ;).

One is a 12 inch Vintage doll and the other is an 18 inch Springfield Collection doll. These are so adorable and cute, that even I can’t help but play with them most of the time ;).

I am planning to make some cute dresses for these little girls.

Nephrotic Syndrome.

I have been away from the blogging world for some time now. First, it was Miss A's Pneumonia and then two weeks ago she was diagnosed with a kidney related problem called Nephrotic Syndrome. So, we were in and out of hospitals for some time now. She is feeling far better now. I just hope and pray my little girl never gets a relapse again.

Trip to LA

It was Miss A's birthday on January 1st and she wanted to go to Disneyland and celebrate it with her best friend who lives in LA. The kiddos had great fun at Disney. We stayed over at our friend's place for 5 days, and had loads of fun watching movies, roaming around fashion district and just doing nothing in particular.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween. Hope you guys had loads of fun today.

It was a wonderful day for us too. Miss A had a Halloween Parade at school and in the evening, she went for trick or treat to the safe street in our neighborhood. She was dressed as an Angel.

It was so much fun to see all the decorated houses. I had a great time.

By the way I did manage to carve the small little wobbly pumpkin, and Miss A loves took the pictures of the pumpkin while I was cleaning up.

Here is the pumpkin I carved. well, sorry, there was no space for nose. I think I carved the eyes a little too big, it somehow looks like an Alien Pumpkin. :)

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Miss A went on a field trip to Pumpkin Patch a couple of days ago.

She bought home a small wobbly pumpkin. She said "Mommy I like this pumpkin because it's small and very light to carry, can you please carve this for me for Halloween?". Well, I really wondered how I could carve such a small one, but then I agreed.

Festival of Lights

Yesterday was the Festival of Lights. This is the decoration I did at home on my center table. I love the way it looks.

I made some yummy rice pudding. :)
