Bags for Miss A’s Class.

Miss A has been sick with Pneumonia. I have been busy for the past two weeks making bags for Miss A’s class and running around the hospital. She is much better now, just has cough, which the doctor said will go in about 2 to 3 weeks.

There are 14 boys and 6 girls in her class and so I made the bags in two colors. The red ones are for girls and the green are for boys.

I used ‘print and press’ iron-on transfers for the labels, to make it easier for the kids to identify their bags.

Her teacher wanted parents to give some paper bags for carrying craft items and library books at school. So I decided to make fabric bags instead and gift it to all the kids.

I handed over the bags to the teacher today and the kids will be getting them tomorrow.

Hope the kids like them. :)

  1. Beautiful bags lalli! The kids will love them :) I liked the design on the green ones!! I so wish I was in Miss. A's class, I would have been the proud owner of one such beautiful bag...It suddenly clicked me that it could be used by women as well....if some beaded work or something is done on the fabric....Teenaged girls love some funky out of the world designs, trust me!! As usual...a great piece of work :)
    Love,
